The Objective

The goal of the Don Bigote project was to build a modern male grooming brand with a clean and premium identity. Unlike traditional barbershops, the brand needed a more refined and contemporary direction.

At the same time, the website had to feel welcoming and easy to navigate. Therefore, every section was designed with simplicity, structure, and clarity in mind.

In addition, the design needed to reflect the atmosphere of the physical studios. As a result, the project combined modern layouts with authentic interior photography and minimal branding elements.

CHALLENGES

One challenge was creating a modern identity without relying on common barber clichés. Many competitors use dark vintage visuals and crowded layouts. However, Don Bigote required a cleaner and more architectural style.

Another challenge involved maintaining consistency across multiple locations. While each branch had its own character, the overall branding still needed to feel unified and recognisable.

To solve this, a neutral colour palette was introduced using black, beige, and warm accent tones. Furthermore, strong typography and generous spacing helped create a more polished appearance.

Additionally, real storefront and interior imagery was used throughout the website. Because of this, the brand feels more authentic and connected to the customer experience.

RESULTS

The final result is a modern grooming brand with a strong and consistent visual identity. The website now reflects the premium atmosphere of the studios while also improving usability and customer engagement.

Moreover, the clean layouts make the content easier to explore. Visitors can quickly browse locations, services, team members, and booking information without distraction.

Most importantly, the project positions Don Bigote as a contemporary grooming destination rather than a traditional barbershop. Consequently, the brand feels more modern, professional, and memorable.
